| Mission Statement: The Children's Ministry
exists to encourage and equip fathers to fulfill their God-given
mandate to bring their children up in the training and admonition
of the Lord. ( Ephesians 6:4, Genesis 18:19). The Ministry
exists also to encourage and
equip all parents and guardians through members of the body,
to glorify God and enjoy Him through Jesus Christ and by the
grace of the Holy Spirit. Though the fathers
of children have been given the primary responsibility for
this training, the Children's Ministry recognizes the Biblical
depiction of the church congregation as a greater family
( Eph 3:15) and as such, all of its members without exception
have a stake in helping fulfill this critical duty. The ongoing
work of the Ministry will include imparting the significance
of this mandate to the general body and in particular to parents.
Further it will serve to train all who work as teachers and
nursery helpers to supplement this vital education of the
children. The Ministry will constantly uphold the Holy Bible
as the infallible rule by which it directs the actions, guidelines
and philosophy of those who serve under that Ministry. |
